Dr. Cordelia Gilda Emrys (age 42) abandoned shortly after her birth and left at a Catholic Monastery just outside Boston, Cordelia grew up with the Nuns and fully expected to become one of the order herself. She was educated by the Roman Catholic Church and even spent 2 years immediately after graduate school studying at the Vatican. A vibrant and charming young woman, the church sent her on numerous field missions with some of the worlds most renowned archeologist. Her stellar rise within both the highest levels of the church and the archeological community never altered her desire to take her vows and use the knowledge she was able to gather within the framework of the church. Nothing else ever crossed her mind as she worked to piece together the history of her faith and the history of the world. She was working for God and the church. While on a dig in South America only weeks before she was scheduled to take her vows, the tool of her fall was introduced to her. She met a young aggressive archeologist who in the end proved to have no redeeming qualities at all. She met and was led astray by a young Dr. Heath Conrad. Struggling to fill the emptiness of never knowing her mother and live down the youthful mistakes of her past life, Dr. Emrys hides away as an obscure p
rofessor in a remote upper New York university.
Dr. Heath Conrad (age 44) Although once considered to be the worlds leading authority on ancient tombs and their architecture, Dr. Conrad is a recklessly dangerous tomb robber only slightly camouflaged by his controversial status as an archeologist. With little regard for archeological protocol or the people his actions might affect, Heath continues a rampage of womanizing, site contamination and ill feelings wherever his lust for glory and riches leads him. Although talented his recklessness results in the death of one of the group and his inability to cross through the veil.
Denise Jorgensen (age 24) A strikingly beautiful young journalist taken in and misled by the roughed animal magnetism of the much older Dr. Heath Conrad.
Amehd (age 34) A traditional and very conservative Egyptian astronomical and mathematical expert who very much dislikes Heath Conrad. Amehd has worked with Felix Smith in the Cairo Legacy House for years and respects him as he would a father.

Dr. Adam Khalid (age 33) A conservative Christian professor of archeology and lost languages. Grew up in a small midwestern town, was in Dr. Emrys class and returned as her teaching assistant then associate professor. A handsome young man, polite and protective of the women to join their quest, Adam becomes enchanted with Gabriella Smith and best friends with her wise old grandfather.
Mr. Felix Smith (age 96) The patriarch and Watcher of The Legacy House, an ancient foundation dedicated to preserving an equally ancient family legacy and uncovering answers to the most ancient knowledge ever lost. Felix is a kind nurturing grandfather who pulls all of the major characters of this adventure together. He leads the band of eight on a quest to uncover the secret knowledge alluded to in recent archeological finds while preparing his grandchildren to take over the family obligations of the Legacy House. His final contribution leads to successfully lifting the veil separating the material universe and heaven, opening for a fraction of time, an understanding of all the mystical knowledge of our beginnings and the history of humankind.
Bruce Smith (age 28) The handsome jovial grandson. Bruce is only minutes younger than his twin sister, Gabriella. He is modest and easy going and has never minded taking a back seat to his sister who is in line to inherit the Watchers role from their grandfather. Bruce is a geological expert and adds a stabilizing element of leadership when his grandfathers health begins to fail.
Gabriella Smith (age 28) The beautiful, yet feisty, dark eyed granddaughter. Gabriella along with Bruce lost her parents when they were still young. Their loving grandfather and Jamila their Egyptian nanny raised them to be strong confident young adults. Being the oldest of the two twins, Gabriella has been schooled since a young age on the history and responsibilities of The Legacy House and understands ancient Gnostic believes. She is a direct person with little patients for dishonest people.
