A fresh new author, Jodie K. Scales was born and raised in rural Indiana. She has published her genealogical and historical work, as well as three historical romance novels. A 1979 graduate of Monroe Central High School, Scales has gone on to earn her degrees in Communications and Organizational Development from Concordia in St. Paul, MN and attended the Master of Arts in Industrial Relations program at the University of Minnesota. Interweaving historical information with the mystical wonders of ancient knowledge is a hallmark of her work. An avid traveler, Scales has visited and researched in great detail many of the settings of her work.
