The Hidden Knowledge Series

A relatively new author has appeared on the scene with a remarkable series, challenging our accepted views of the past and history as it has been taught to us. Jodie K. Scales, who has been writing for years but only began getting her work published over the last two years told us, I began investigations into the great ancient mysteries which led me to begin seriously questioning our current understanding of history.

It seems that the fictional novels that make up The Hidden Knowledge Series have all begun from the exploration of sound historical and archaeological fact. Having a firm belief and faith in God, the author seems to look at the ancient myths and legends from an alternative perspective. The series is made up of independent novels tied together by the use of characters from the same family and a strong thread of Godly supported reasoning; everything leads back to God.

The series begins with an introduction to the Smith family and the other supporting characters beginning an adventure after finding ancient maps that support the theory of very advanced past civilizations. The Smith family is the caretakers of the ancient knowledge as put forth in their family genealogy, which leads back to Seth the son of Adam and Eve. They have established the Legacy House and Legacy House Foundation to legitimate their support of scientific and historical research. Along with many other profound implications, this pedigree of extreme lineage requires the head of the Smith family and the Legacy House from birth to take on the life and role of a Watcher.

From the beginning the number seven is portrayed as a mystical number. Each of the following books then takes place seven years after the previous book showing the growth and development of the characters of the Smith family and the mission of the Legacy House. The series covers spiritual topics such as creation, the Garden of Eden, the curtain between Heaven and Earth, reincarnation, the Kabala, and angels on earth. It also covers alternative perspectives on legendary and mythical topics such as Atlantis, Thoth, The Emerald Tablets, The Seven Caves, Machu Picchu, The Hopi Indian Creation Myth, Bahariya Oasis, and The Origin of the Celtic tribes of Ireland and Scotland, The Giants Causeway, Fingals Cave, Earth Mysteries, Natural Energy Sources and many unexplained archeological sites around the world.

The novels making up the series are fairly short, quick moving and easy to read. They do not have to be read in order to be enjoyed. When asked her favorite, Scales replied, That is a really tuff question because I get so involved in the writing of each novel. My personal favorite would probably be whichever one I have most recently been working on. Setting that aside, I suppose that I really like the fourth book, Dragon Lines, Nwyure from the aspect of the subject matter. It deals with the realization that the ancient Druids and Druidess of the Celtic tribes in Scotland and Ireland came originally from the people of God. It suggests that they were worshipers of God long before Christianity came to the islands of Great Britain. Having a Celtic heritage myself, that is obviously a topic I feel strongly connected to. I think that Indwelling Glory, my third book in the series is probably the best written though, and people seem to like it very much.

Regardless of where you begin, The Hidden Knowledge Series by author Jodie K. Scales will entertain you at the same time that it causes you to pause and think. Each novel in the series draws the reader into a remarkable world of light and guides them along a mystical odyssey of self discovery where vivid streams of past-life experiences give us glimpses of times and places long forgotten and teach us about the lessons of life we all long to learn.
